Drew is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).  Drew earned his Master of Social Work degree from Northern Kentucky University and his Bachelors degree from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.  Drew participated in the CAT program at Northern Kentucky University, gaining valuable training in providing trauma informed care.

Drew has experience working with children, adolescents, and their families.  His areas of interest and experience include working with individuals of all ages experiencing: Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorder, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

In addition to providing individual therapy at ClearView Counseling Services, Drew provides group and individual therapy to children with severe behavioral problems that interfere with their ability to participate in traditional education. Helping clients gain the coping and social skills they need to be successful in their school setting is one of Drew’s areas of expertise.

Drew’s approach to therapy is to provide an open and understanding environment where he collaborates with clients to help them work through their problems, with a focus on their individual’s strengths, abilities, and potential rather than their problems and deficits. In therapy sessions, Drew uses a variety of approaches in order to tailor treatment to the needs of the client. Drew looks forward to partnering with clients, parents, and families to help them meet the challenges of life in a way that leaves them stronger and more confident for challenges in the future.
