Carol is licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, designated as a supervisor to Ohio social workers in clinical training. She obtained her Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky and her Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Cincinnati. For 30 years, she has provided mental and behavioral health services to individuals and families in urban and rural homes, schools and communities.
Favoring education and practical tools from diverse modalities, Carol offers crisis and non-crisis therapy for adults, children, adolescents, parents, blended families, foster parents to improve symptoms like frustration, isolation, depression, grief, anxiety, adjustment, and a range of self-destructive behaviors. She is an experienced practitioner of trauma specific therapies. She also provides knowledgeable services for those involved in military, court, medical, school, or county systems.
Carol remains dedicated to listening to the stories of others and illuminating opportunities to create improvement. Her enthusiasm is ignited by the observation that, when a thoughtful interpersonal exchange partners with the willingness to develop new perspectives and supportive self care, discovery and recovery are close by and available to every person.
